Initially I was running 400W TEC's. This required 800W+!! At 12v that is well over 50amps. The white cables you see are from a normal home extension lead. The wires would get really hot when both TEC's were connected. I ended up needing to use two computer PSU's to power each TEC with its own cable. This worked fine for a bit. But major changes needed to be made. See next pic.
